Laguna Beach Engagement!

I was referred to Giovanna by her sister, Maryela, a model that I have worked with in the past. Giovanna & Anthony were great to work with. They were great in front of the camera and it showed how much they love each other. We started in San Juan Capistrano and then went to Laguna Beach to enjoy and photograph the sunset. Here are my favs from the day!

Shannon Rocks!

Shannon is a personal trainer in LA and she needed some headshot / fitness pictures of herself for marketing, etc... She is awesome to work with and the camera definitely likes her! Here are some of my favorites from her shoot-

When we ended at the beach, there was a beautiful sunset and I had always wanted to take a picture like this one. A great ending to a great shoot!

Newport Beach Sunset!

One thing I love about being a photographer is that my wife and I both enjoy it. Even when we are not working we can still go shoot together and create some amazing images. My wife also makes a great model to shoot when I need! We went to the Balboa Peninsula on a weeknight this week and had an amazing sky at sunset.

Naples, Florida

After the search in Miami for our wedding location we had the chance to travel to Ft. Myers to visit Kristi's mom for a couple of days. While we were there we went to Naples to see the awesome beaches and sunset. Here are some of my favorite pictures.

This would make a great postcard... The dolphin and sailboat were great additions to the picture!

I love the blue sky and the color of the water in the Gulf of Mexico!

The Never-ending Search Begins...

So I love photographing sunsets. I shot this sunset while I was showing a friend of mine around Newport Beach. It was my favorite sunset that I have ever shot. The only problem... now I am always looking for a better one. Everytime I go to photograph the sunset, it just isn't as colorful or textured... I guess that's what I love about sunsets though- they are all unique and beutiful in their own way. No matter, I will always love the beauty that we are blessed with every day in nature!

The Getty Center- Engaged!

So I love going to the Getty Center in LA... I figured what better place to ask Kristi to marry me. Long story short it was perfect! Beautiful sunset at an amazing place. And of course she said yes! I figured she had to say yes on my birthday! ;)
