Newport Coast Engagement!

I had the opportunity to shoot an awesome engagement session with my wife Kristi, (KLK Photography). Mukesh and Erika were in California for a conference that we were photographing. They fell in love with Newport Coast and decided to get there engagement pictures while they were here. We started at Pelican Hill where they were staying and then we went to Laguna Beach. They were great and we had an awesome time with them. Congratulations Mukesh and Erika!

Los Angeles Engagement!

I shot Namal & Shehan's engagement with Kristi and her company (KLK Photography). We started at Union Station, then went to the Art District and the 4th street bridge. LA has some awesome places to shoot and we took advantage of the beautiful scenery with Namal & Shehan. Here are some of my favorites from the day!

Laguna Beach Engagement!

Gabriel works for Beco Baby Carrier. Kristi and I shoot all of their products for marketing for them. When Gabriel and I were talking during our last Beco shoot, he wanted to have some professional pictures taken of him and his girlfriend. I met them in San Juan Capistrano to start the shoot, then we went to Laguna Beach to get some nice beach shots. Gabriel & Dionne were great, such a fun couple. Here are a few of my favorites from the day!

Laguna Beach Engagement!

I was referred to Giovanna by her sister, Maryela, a model that I have worked with in the past. Giovanna & Anthony were great to work with. They were great in front of the camera and it showed how much they love each other. We started in San Juan Capistrano and then went to Laguna Beach to enjoy and photograph the sunset. Here are my favs from the day!

San Juan Capistrano Engagement!

April Smith (April Smith & Co. Photography) invited me to show her around a couple of places that I love to shoot on one of her engagements near where we live. We started at Mission San Juan Capistrano and then headed to Victoria Beach in Laguna Beach. Both places are awesome to photograph and she had an amazing couple for us to work with. Here are some of my favorite pics from the day.

The last shot I wanted to take was a long exposure with the waves rolling up while our couple stood there very still. I love the way it makes the water just melt together. I did have to use a neatral density filter to be able to lower my shutter speed enough to make the effect work. My settings were ISO 200, F22, shutter speed 0.5 seconds.
