Colorado Trip!

My wife and I love Colorado... We took a 5 day trip, drove over 1200 miles through the mountains and stayed in Breckenridge, Aspen, Boulder, and downtown Denver. One of these days I would love to live in CO! The scenery is so amazing with the mountains, blue sky, and miles of nature as far as you can see. We went on a couple of hikes while we were there and here are my favorite pics from the trip.

Los Angeles Engagement!

I shot Namal & Shehan's engagement with Kristi and her company (KLK Photography). We started at Union Station, then went to the Art District and the 4th street bridge. LA has some awesome places to shoot and we took advantage of the beautiful scenery with Namal & Shehan. Here are some of my favorites from the day!

Laguna Beach Engagement!

I was referred to Giovanna by her sister, Maryela, a model that I have worked with in the past. Giovanna & Anthony were great to work with. They were great in front of the camera and it showed how much they love each other. We started in San Juan Capistrano and then went to Laguna Beach to enjoy and photograph the sunset. Here are my favs from the day!

Newport Beach Sunset!

One thing I love about being a photographer is that my wife and I both enjoy it. Even when we are not working we can still go shoot together and create some amazing images. My wife also makes a great model to shoot when I need! We went to the Balboa Peninsula on a weeknight this week and had an amazing sky at sunset.

Naples, Florida

After the search in Miami for our wedding location we had the chance to travel to Ft. Myers to visit Kristi's mom for a couple of days. While we were there we went to Naples to see the awesome beaches and sunset. Here are some of my favorite pictures.

This would make a great postcard... The dolphin and sailboat were great additions to the picture!

I love the blue sky and the color of the water in the Gulf of Mexico!

Hawaii!

We went on our first destination wedding. Some of the most inspirational photographs that pushed me more toward loving photography were taken in Hawaii. Of course most of them were taken on the "vacation" half of the trip!

I still look for a flower this beautiful to retake the shot. I now know that I cut the very bottom petal out of my frame... Now I know of course to leave room for cropping... Doh! I will retake this flower shot one day, but it's still one of my favorite!

Started really appreciating sky and cloud pictures after this shot. Hawaii skies are beautiful and everything is so blue!

This picture taught me how to use the patch tool in Photoshop... There used to be about 25 people in the photograph... ;)

My first long exposure photograph. I still love photographing waterfalls! Every trip we take I look for waterfalls, no matter how long the hike.

We were still pretty adventurous at this point... So of course when we saw this beautiful waterfall with a cliff to jump from, Kristi and I both had to do it! The parrots were from a bird sanctuary that we visited nearby.
